Catching three international flights with 13 teenagers and leaders is no mean feat! But we survived and we all arrived safely into Bangkok, Nairobi and then Kilimanjaro. Everyone felt the exhaustion yet enjoyed the flights, especially those in the team who had not traveled long-haul before.
Most memorable moments:
- Everyone discovering how to prank call each other from their plane seat phones
- Some of the youth learning the hard way not to take bottles of water through check-in at every airport!
- The guys discovering airport travellators and walking on the wrong side in order to exercise… before being told off by airport security.
God is good, our team is a great bunch and we are getting to know each other well after 30 hours travelling together… And we are getting excited to finally arrive at our destination!
